Homestay Pachamama is set in Cabanaconde, within 24 km of Colca Canyon and 30 km of Colca Canyon. It offers free WiFi, a terrace, a bar and a restaurant. The homestay features family rooms. The hostel is very well organised, the staff is very knowledgeable about the Colca Canyon. We were backpack hiking for two days and we got great recommendations from the Pachamama staff about which hike to do and where to sleep. Originally we planned to sleep in a tent, but we were very glad that we have followed their recommendations and left the tent at the hostel and slept at Llahuar Lodge instead. The hostel goes quiet in the night around 9-10 pm and starts to get busy around 6 am, which for us worked perfectly. The room was warm and the shower was hot. We were happy about the transport that they offer from Cabanaconde to Cusco. There is also a little store at the hostel were you can find different paintings, pottery and so on made by local artists. It is a great place to find some special souvenirs.

Boasting a garden and views of city, AKAO HOUSE is a recently renovated guest house situated in Arequipa, less than 1 km from Umacollo Stadium. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Arequipa. Everything was just awesome and super comfy and clean. Fabiola is just the nicest person, warm-hearted, funny, and helpful. After one month in Peru, I can confirm that this was the best place I've stayed at together with the 4star hotel at the airport. Don't look any further in Arequipa (I've seen 2 other places with similar ratings and would always highly recommend staying here). It is also very close by a short walk to the main square and everything you need. Hot shower with enough pressure, nice breakfast, comfy bed and warm room (you won't feel cold here during the night like in many other places). The room is spacious, and you have a window to the outside, which is also pretty rare in some places. Thank you for everything 🙏🏽 When I return to Arequipa, I would love to stay here again.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Bella AQP is located in Arequipa, 1.3 km from Umacollo Stadium and 1.4 km from Yanahuara Church. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly, booking taxis where needed. The hotel is secure and entry only gained by ringing the door bell and let in. There is a lovely roof terrace on the 5th floor if you need time to relax. The hotel is situated a 2 minute walk from Plaza de Armas, therefore in a great location. The room was nice, comfortable bed and a good hot shower. Breakfast was lovely which was included in the room rate and they provided a take away breakfast when I was out early on a trip. A lovely stay in Arequipa.

Very lovely people, we felt like visiting our grandma. Very nice clean room, great breakfast. Nothing to complain about. Perfect spot to experience real Peru and start point to get to Colca Canon.
