Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. In comparison to two other accommodations, Mosana was our highlight. If I had known about them prior, I would have made different accommodations for most of the time in Bocas del Toro and stay with them. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent hosts. Our room had a comfortable bed, bath and outside patio with kitchen accessories and a small refrigerator means you can stay here for a number of days very comfortably. A sea level concrete deck outside offers guests sunbathing and access to the water for wading and swimming. A few steps away a covered patio stands along the coast line adjacent to the kitchen area where Breakfast and dinner can be served. The food prepared is very good-excellent! Prices good! I would return here in the future.

Situated within 1.7 km of Y Griega Beach in Bocas del Toro, Villa Bahia Del Sol features accommodation with seating area. The property has sea and mountain views, and is 400 metres from Istmito. The view off the back of the house, over the water, was superb. David is also an excellent host, very friendly and attentive and provided many great recommendations.

Set 1.1 km from Istmito, Pineapple House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and private parking is available on site. It was a perfect place to stay for one night before my flight in the morning - the airport is just across the road (no flights at night though). The host allowed me to wait for the flight in their cute garden area, even after checking in and dropping off the luggage. There is hot water, good pressure in the shower, air conditioner in the room, comfy bed. Drinking water accessible

Featuring garden views, J and H Garden Cabinas provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 1.2 km from Istmito. Guests staying at this homestay have access to a balcony. The property is like an oasis in the middle of the island. The cabin is amazing. Hosts are friendly and welcoming.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. The place is close to everything and it feels like a house. The staff is great they keep the house totally organized, clean and helped us with information we needed to make our activities. Worthy to stay with them.

Boasting a shared lounge, Cataleya Hostel is located in Bocas del Toro in the Isla Colon region, 2.6 km from Y Griega Beach. It is set 1.1 km from Istmito and offers a tour desk. I had the best time at Cataleya Hostel! The hostel is super cozy, chill and clean. It has everything you need. The location is perfect, right next to the airport, and it is just a 5-minute walk from the center of town. Lovely staff, Santi, Rami, Laura and Juan make you feel at home, always ready to help you and give you tips on what to do and where to go. I would definitely recommend it! Forever grateful!!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, The Garden House is a recently renovated guest house set in Bocas del Toro, 700 metres from Istmito. Nicest place on Bocas, perfect place for exploring other islands, hanging out with a book and chating with other travelers.

Set in Big Creek, near Y Griega Beach and Istmito, Casa Gato is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and terrace.

Hostal Bocas Tropical Paradise is located in Bocas del Toro, just 800 metres from the Town. It offers an on-site tour desk and free Wi-Fi. Quiet, clean, comfortable with plenty of nice little touches like a three-tiered bathroom caddy for toiletries, and a kitchen cloth. Coffee maker was well used, especially given the quality of the Chiriqui coffee. There's a supermarket literally just on the corner to the right when you come out the building. It is larger than most and stocks fresh fruit, veg, meat, breads and the usual tins and packets etc. Also has 1 gallon bottles of water for $2. Leave the rubbish bin outside the door to be emptied each day; towels and bedding were changed during our stay. Everything was clean and worked. We liked it so much we extended our stay for another 4 nights.
