Heaps of food for our breakfast, along with juice, milk and lemon water.

Little bit of rural heaven! Perfectly comfortable, peaceful and lovely on the river. Loved Whanganui! Very responsive host.

What an amazing, relaxing place to stay. The accommodation is close to town but feels very rural. The guest wing was superbly decorated and fitted out with exquisite furniture. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in (and we slept very well). The second bedroom was used as a dressing room and led to the private spa pool where we could relax and watch the night sky. The lounge area was perfect to relax with a glass of wine while watching the bird life from the window. Lots of little personal touches and treats. The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. But the most wonderful thing about staying here were the hosts, Alan and Lois. Wonderful people who just couldn't do enough for us; they made us feel very welcome and relaxed and were great conversationalists. We can't forget Buttercup either, the friendly chicken! We will definitely be returning.
