Just 15 km south of Stranda village, Overvoll Farm is a home stay situated a 15-minute drive from Hellesylt Ferry terminal and connections to Geiranger. It offers free WiFi and parking. I loved everything about my stay at Overvoll Farm! From the warm welcome, the delicious dinner (consisting of homemade deer stew), the stimulating conversation with fellow guests, the heated bathroom floors & water pressure in the shower, the cloud like mattress & pillows dressed in soft linen, to the unbelievable breakfast spread with freshly prepared baked goods, eggs of all variety, local jams, cheese, granola, porridge, juice & coffee! Meeting Hege Kristin & her family and sharing a meal with them was a definite highlight of my stay. They also maintain & operate a 9-hole golf course!

Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Beautiful. Different and cozy. Very romantic

This place is an absolute gem in so many ways. We could start with the view from the windows or the garden you can relax in! But let’s also start with the host, Märta, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even assisting with ideas for activities, my laundry needs, and practising the language :) The self-catering facilities have everything you could need and you can eat in the shared kitchens or your own room. Great shared bathroom and shower with towels provided if needed. Excellent midweek value too, especially for Norway.

Pleasant, cosy, stylishly decorated, immaculately clean, cleverly conceived large room with a beautiful view. Kitchen en bathroom equally pleasant. Our favourite accommodation during our trip in Norway. Far beyond expectations, for a very reasonable fare. It made other accommodations (often more expensive) pale in comparison. Easy communication with the owners. The type of room you wish yourself in every visited place.

As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding.
