Very spacious and clean room with a beautiful view of the mountain and sunset. The facilities are amazing with a luxurious pool. The owner is extremely hospitable and friendly making it the best experience I’ve had in all of my travels. He’s very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Sabah during my short stay. Will definitely come back.

Located in Mulu, AA Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. The homestay features family rooms. At the homestay, every unit is fitted with a desk. Very friendly family, walking distance from the airport and near to mulu national park - i went back to nap before walking back for the second part of the day activities, drinking bottles are available for purchase, breakfast, lunch (on request) and dinner are available. Hot water is available too. Their fried rice is just amazing!! No aircon, but a working fan. It does get cooling at night (personally for me), no TV, limited internet connection, no water heater (not complaining as a cooling shower is great after a hot day in the park). Bring your books, download movies if you need, or simply chit chat with others if they're around! Do get comfortable with the geckos though!

I love the easy way as self checked in and out. Location is superb. Theres so many malls and easy to get foods. Room was so clean, hopefully they maintain it. The decoration is simple and smart. And the staff so concerned towards the guest's comfortability.

Featuring a garden, Mulu Tribal Homestay is set in Mulu in the Sarawak region, 1.4 km from Gunung Mulu National Park. The homestay features family rooms. Well organised house tucked away by Melinau river which renders a nature stream for swimming and dipping (though I did not jump in). The stay is just right opposite the airport, so I did not need to rush for departure at all. Having said that, a short 15min walk is needed towards the national park entrance. I enjoyed the scenic views of the jutting mountains and birds watching along the walk most. Spacious room has the basic furnitures including a long table and bedside table convenient for me to place my stuff in good order as well as the ceiling fan to cool off the heat. Bathroom is very clean with good shower. Despite without heater, the humidity of Mulu will ensure that is not essential. I did not need to worry about my meals as Salina's home cooking will always keep stomach pampered from breakfast to dinner. Free refill drinking water and coffee/tea. Tried out the home-made tuak and I loved it. I would never forget the warm hospitality by the couple owners. We had good chats.
