It was an excellent and too short stay. The house is very comfortable and atmospheric. The rooms are big, clean, and full of light, the swimming pool in the yard helps a lot in the afternoon. There is everything necessary in the kitchen. Paulina, the host, was very nice and helpful. Nice location, as the bus to the beaches stops in 300 m walking distance from the house, and there are many nice cafe and restaurants nearby. Very safe place. We recommend.

Set within 400 metres of Playa Holbox and 2.9 km of Punta Coco in Holbox Island, Casa Mech offers accommodation with seating area. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. Mauricio and Irais the hosts were unbelievably welcoming!! beyond words. Mauricio welcomed us with fresh water, spent a lot of time explaining about the island, things to do, places to eat. His tips are GOLD. since it is our honeymoon, we were upgraded to a beautiful king sized bed room, with beautiful flowers and decorations. we got a bottle of wine (!) and the kitchen had pastries and fruits for us. they even supplied ear plugs which we personally didn't need. on top of all of that, because there were a lot of puddles in the island, Mauricio risked his own car to help get us from and to the ferry. Really this kindness is something special. As to the hotel itself- it is beautiful, perfect location, sparkling clean, hot water in the shower (and we showered both at evening and morning), everything was perfect. thank you Mauricio and Irais, you guys are the best. I wish you'll always be fully booked😉 totally recommend

Offering a rooftop pool and quiet street view, Casa Barco Hotel Boutique is situated in Isla Mujeres, 200 metres from Norte Beach and 600 metres from Isla Mujeres Beach. (I stayed at the sea-side room on the top floor) Awesome room! Massive, super comfy bed and pillows, great interior lighting, sparkling clean, and on a quiet setting (the property is away enough from all the town buzz, allowing a great rest, but close enough that a 5min stroll will get you to all the places). When booking, I always wondered whether the room had sea views; let's say it has partial views: you can certainly get a good glimpse to the sea, and if you don't pay attention to other people's backyards and light poles, one can definitely enjoy a great morning wake-up, go-to-the-window-and-get-to-see-the-sea moment. Overall, great value for money and super friendly staff. Definitely staying here when I go back to Isla.
