Everything was exactly like in the pictures. Host was very attentive and kind. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Will definitely be back when I have the chance!

As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

While it’s a very social hostel, the pods you can choose to sleep in provide a lot of privacy. It’s very comfortable (private AC-fan, soundproof). Dalia, the owner is fantastic and funny she will go miles to make you enjoy your stay.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay- Casa Sixta is perfectly located close to local restaurants, beaches, a big supermarket and the ADO bus station. More importantly, the host, Magnolia, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room is cleaned every day, which is a real plus, and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you very much Magnolia!

Villa Bonobo - Coliving in Puerto Escondido provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. An amazing place with super good vibes, very kind and helpful staff that will instantly become your friends and often have activities going that you can join in on. Great for solo travelers to meet and socialize with people. Also the breakfast they cook you in the morning is wonderful and done with a personal touch. Really great to chill out by the pool and also on the rooftop bar at sunset! An amazing value for the money.

It’s PERFECT for solo female travelers or those traveling on a budget—it’s safe, quiet, clean, comfortable, and convenient. You can walk to and from the Zocalo and lots of restaurants safely in the evening. There’s a fabulous rooftop terrace with a hammock and chairs—you get a nice breeze and the WiFi works as well. There’s also a fully stocked and clean kitchen. It’s also PERFECT for those who want to stay long term and need to work online—great WiFi and very quiet. Azael and Arturo are kind and helpful hosts. I’ve stayed here many times and I always stay here every time I’m in Oaxaca.

Great activities, lovely staff, not a party hostel with people looking to get drunk or hook up but a real communal family vibe. Best decision I made was staying here.

There are greats views and it has a good location. The owner is super nice, ready to help and give tips on what to do in Mazunte. The room is clean and also gets cleaned every day.

Boasting garden views, Castillo Oasis features accommodation with patio, around 50 metres from Zipolite Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The location is spectacular. Great little shop across the road, reasonably priced food and drinks on the beach at Lola’s, great tacos a short distance down the main road. Corinna is lovely, the ambiance and decorative details are delightful. Huge pieces of amethyst, dream catchers, art… we loved our stay.
