Nongu Home er staðsett 500 metra frá Uppuveli-ströndinni og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. Clean, calm, comfortable room with big clean open air bathroom. Its the best place in Trincomalee - truely comfort and relaxing stay. Comfortable beds, tea pot in room, beautiful garden sitting area - all was perfect. Friendly staff. Also good location - 5 min walk to beach, and a lot of good cafes and resturants around. We stayed here for 2 nights and then try to go to other place, but we return to stay one more night because its most comfortable place.

We booked the 3 person room for a family of 4 (kids 4 + 8). We could easily fit in the very big 2 person bed and the single bed. The room was simple but complete, it had a very nice looking bathroom and the airco worked amazing. The outside area was amazing with a nice jungle vibe (A lot of sitting opportunities) and the restaurant/breakfast area was clean and spacious. The biggest pro for us was the distance to the city. It was far enough from all the hectic, but still everything was reachable with a short ride with a tuktuk. Restaurants are reachable by tuktuk, but you can also skip this because they serve good food for a good price. The biggest plus of Nature Beach Huts are the hosts. They speak very good English and they are super helpful. They will definitely go for the extra mile! (Another small plus for us were the kittens that walked around!)

Moon Isle Beach Bungalow er staðsett í Nilaveli, 1,3 km frá Nilaveli-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með einkastrandsvæði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. I love the location! It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn er staðsett í Trincomalee, 3,3 frá Koneswaram-hofinu, og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The owner and his family were perfect. He presented all the attractions and nearby facilities for us after check in. After checkout he transmitted us to the bus station by his tuktuk. The beach, restaurant and supermarket were very close to the property. You have to use mosquito net which is available in the room.

Lobster Inn er staðsett í Trincomalee, aðeins 100 metra frá Uppuveli-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Very nice and helpful host. The rooms were nicely equipped and spacious. The garden is very pleasant and there is also a hammock if you want to enjoy the nature and the nice weather outside. The location is great and very close to the beach.

Villa Nilaveli Cabana er með 3 sólskýli (Villa Nilaveli Cabana) sem hægt er að leigja. Hvert Cabana er með king-size rúmi, loftkælingu, loftviftu, moskítóneti og en-suite baðherbergi. The location at the beach was amazing! Like a little private paradise. The owner was very friendly and will remember his warm smile.

Javi Holiday Home býður upp á borgarútsýni og gistirými með svölum, í um 500 metra fjarlægð frá Dutch Bay-ströndinni. Good location and great value for money
