Tucked away from the main road, it’s perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Batticaloa. Nava, the owner, is one of the loveliest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was he unbelievably welcoming but he helped us so much when our train got cancelled because of flooding. He sorted us out with a driver and some fruit for our journey. We are so grateful to him for being so kind and helpful, we would have been lost without him! Would strongly recommend staying here.

Very nice homestay place, there are several rooms, shared living room, shared open air dinner place and big secured parking. Owners family is very nice and friendly it was very nice to speak with. Our room was comfortable, bed was comfortable too, bathroom was big and clean(everything was perfectly clean). Very good air condition in the room. And good sound isolation. We sleept very well here. We ordered dinner and breakfast here - all was tasty.

The highlight of the place, the front view of the house is green with bougainvillea tree so beautiful colourful for it's flowers. The room is very big and clean. We really appreciate the area and the family was always fabulously helpful with a big smile. The family was able to organize a scooter rental for us and they prepared nice breakfast and dinner. The home stay is really perfect for a couple and little family. We highly recommend for this beautiful place for globetrotters for a peaceful stay in and it is easy for accessible quickly by walk to the place from the main road and thanking for owner and family members. Coastal Villa which is situated closer than we think to the blue beautiful beach at Kallady - Batticaloa in Sri Lanka.

Manoj is a very friendly host. He made our stay very special. You can feel that hosting and meeting people at soul connection is his passion by heart. We enjoyed our stay with him very much. You should go for the cabana, it's beautiful, handmade and some things are made of reused wood. You can sleep with a fresh breeze and view of the lagoon. It's magical. Manoj offering as much tea and water as you can drink and takes care of you. Food is also tasty and we explored some local cuisine with him. It's a very peaceful place. A beautiful beach is nearby and you can explore the lagoon as well. In walking distance there is also a place for lunch.

Arul and his wife are absolutely lovely. Their english is excellent and it facilitates communication. Arul is really keen on sharing local knowledge and culture which was super nice. Room is fine. Location is perfect between the two beaches (I personally prefer Kalkudah) Breakfast and food is delicious. Highly recommend the pancake rolls!
