Jazz made me feel very welcomed and they were extremely accommodating when I arrived super early in the morning. The room is spacious and clean, very comfy beds. There is a little grocery store, taxi service stand and surf shop right next to it, all the guys were really nice and helpful and gave good tips for everything. As a woman travelling alone, felt really safe and looked after all the time. I ended up extending quite a few nights. It’s up the road, not right in the main spot, which is nice because it is more quiet in this area. Be mindful there is a mosque nearby and you might hear the call for prayer early in the morning; didn’t bother me though. Would recommend!

This is a good place for a couple to stay. It was clean and cozy. The staff there is very friendly. Breakfast every morning was different and very tasty. The hotel is located very close to the beach, but if you want to surf, you need to get to the main point, which is a 10minute drive from there.

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Helped us to organize a surfing lesson/guide which was great. Air-conditioning worked well and was definitely needed as it was hot and humid while we were there.

Great location in Arugam as it is close to the main street and beach. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Room has AC and a fan which makes the stay super comfortable. Room is clean too! Definitely the best place I have stayed so far in Sri Lanka!

Located just 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Gypcey Home provides accommodation in Arugam Bay with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Clean and comfortable - it felt like our home for the week. Perfect location - 4 min walk to the heart of downtown yet just far enough away for much needed peace and quiet. Great staff and owner - helpful, responsive, relaxed, kind, professional.

The hosts were so kind and cooked such good food. It was in a great location, away from tourist areas with a great beach not far. Would recommend

The property is absolutely beautiful, and the pool and rooms are exceptional. The owner is so kind and let us upgrade for our honeymoon. The best place we have stayed so far. Literally 30 seconds to the beach also! We love it! Thank you so much for making our honeymoon.

There was nothing not to love about this place! We had stayed a night prior in Arugam Bay which was completely mediocre and for the same cost we were able to come out here. Have a great location on the water, our own bungalo, a quiet place at night (not a party hotel), and watching the surfers on the break. The manager was very friendly and the staff also super helpful, carrying our bags down from where we parked our car about 500m away. Through and through can not recommend enough and will be back!
