I had a wonderful overnight stay at Jungdam, a family-owned traditional hanok in Jeonju. The experience was truly memorable, offering a perfect mix of charm and hospitality. The hanok itself is cozy and beautifully maintained, giving a true feel of Korean tradition. What stood out the most was the incredible kindness of the host. Despite not speaking English, the lady went out of her way to help me book a taxi. She noticed me waiting across the street and took the initiative to assist me, demonstrating genuine care and effort. Her hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, making it even more special. If you're visiting Jeonju and looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience, I highly recommend staying at Jungdam.

The owner is very helpful make us feel like home. Much assistance for our continent. They also show kindness to my son. The room was exactly as clean as it appeared in the booking.com photo. The location is excellent. Not to noisy for tourist but still can walk to Jeonju hanok village just a short distance. They provided coffee, kimchi, and bread with jam for breakfast. I appreciate this place so much. I'll come back to stay here in Jeonju. Wish both of owners are healthy.

Great traditional Hanoks in a great location, some really nice attractions and restaurants nearby. Can visit the night market which a great intro into the flavours of Jeonju. Also, Lee was an incredible host. Waited for us to arrive as we had a later arriving coach. Gave us some great gifts and was extremely helpful in giving local recommendations. Was very happy with my stay

Offering a garden and garden view, Sungsim Hanok Guesthouse is set in Jeonju, 400 metres from Jeonju Hanok Village and 100 metres from Donghak Peasant Revolution Memorial Hall. Everything! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Hanok village with a lot of cute coffees and shops around. The owner was very kind, she welcomed us with an amazing tea and brought breakfast every morning with fruit and when we left she even got us a bag with snacks. Honestly was the best part of the trip around South Korea and the best guesthouse. I would come back for sure.

Situated in Jeonju, 600 metres from Jeonju Hanok Village and 500 metres from Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School, Happiness Full Hanok Guesthouse features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning... It was a beautiful Hanok with a nice garden. The owner was so nice and everything was perfect. It was in a good location. I was told I got upgraded in a double room instead of a single room, so I was a little surprised how small the room was, but it is not a big deal, I mean I am in a foreign country so I will anyway use the room only for sleeping. For everyone who has never been to Korea (or Japan), you will sleep on a tradtionial futon on the floor so don’t expect a super soft matress! I love the futons so it was perfect for me.
