Situated within less than 1 km of Lighthouse Beach and 2.5 km of Sokcho Beach, SokCho Station Hostel features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Sokcho. I was in shock from how good the hostel was, it was honestly a treat after the disaster of my hostel in Seoul. Right next to the direct bus to Seoraksan and about a 10-15 minute walk to all the restaurants/market. The beds were huge and the curtains are really good at blocking out the light. If I ever come back to Sokcho I'll be booking here.

Set 2.4 km from Sokcho Expo Park, Sokcho & Guesthouse features rooms with air conditioning in Sokcho. The staff were absolutely lovely and gave plenty of local recommendations for both activities and food. Fantastic location, good room, good beds. I could not be happier with my stay here!

Featuring a terrace with sea views, a private beach area and a bar, SurfingStay can be found in Yangyang, close to Jukdo Beach and 1.1 km from Ingu Beach. Sparkling clean and was able to use the body board at the beach. There was also a surf board, but missed the spring high tide- so didn’t use it. Fell asleep relaxing on the hammock in the afternoon- was perfect!

Guesthouse Nabiya, a property with a garden, is set in Chuncheon, 6.2 km from Chuncheon Animation Museum, 8.1 km from Chucheon Child Park, as well as 8.5 km from Catholic Jungnim-dong Church. I loved this stay and really enjoyed my visit. It exceeded my expectations by far. Very nice and funny host. House is beautiful in traditional hanok-style. It’s calm and quiet and close to many fun activities. The backyard comes to life every night when excellent dakgalbi bbq is served. I met so many lovely people when I was here and would love to visit again.

Located within 34 km of Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza and 1.7 km of Gangneung Station in Gangneung, Gangneung Guesthouse Myu provides accommodation with seating area and a kitchenette. It’s clean, comfortable, and its near the traditional market and wolhwa street. There is also some shopping area as well. The bus stop is near by so commuting is fuss free. The owner is very friendly too!

James Blue Hostel, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Sokcho, 1 km from Lighthouse Beach, 2.3 km from Sokcho Beach, as well as 5.3 km from Daepo Port. James is incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is great and the room was very clean and cozy. Next time I'm in Sokcho, we will come back!

Situated just 7.8 km from Daepo Port, Smile Resort offers accommodation in Sokcho with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. This accommodation is just in the perfect location if you are a nature lover. I slept only one night there, unfortunately. The staff was really nice and friendly. And the bed was super comfortable. The view from my window was stunning as it looked at the mountains around the hotel. Delicious breakfast in the price. I totally recommend this accommodation! :)

Set in Samcheok in the Gangwon-Do region, with Jangho Beach nearby, Pension Ora offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Not the first line but still nearby the bay. In general nothing bad i can describe
