Firstly, it is very remote so you would need to be comfortable riding a bike to get to Koh Touch or some of the other beaches. However, this was not an issue at all for us, the food on site is incredible, probably better than anywhere else on the island. Lonely beach is close by which you can either walk to or rent a Kayak/Bike to get there. There are the cutest dogs there as well which is a big bonus.

The hosts Han and his wife are really awesome people and very supportive. They help you with everything including how to reach the place, booking boat,, renting a bike or traveling in the island. They have small restaurant cum kitchen available there, and provide you food at very reasonable prices. The place is really good for you if you want to stay away from people and world for a while and stay close to nature only.

Also the location right on the beach in the middle of the village is awesome. One of my favorite places I've ever stayed.

It is situated less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and provides full-day security. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen for guests. Top tier guest house on the island! The rooms are super clean and comfortable and the house is perfectly located, very close to the beach but far enough so that heavy winds are not too noticeable. Andrew makes the best coffees and creates a very warm, homelike atmosphere. We ended up extending our stay multiple times and during our two weeks here we had family dinners nearly every night (taking turns with who cooks each evening). It’s hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful place and people. Thank you Andrew for making this such a memorable part of our trip! Always happy to come back to Mpai Bai. We'll definitely come back for more!

Honestly I have no words to describe this paradise place. Firstly I want to thank Johney, the host of this beautiful place. He has a very good heart. He was so helpful. We had everything that we needed even our own kitchen. Johney gave us towels, water, cooking supplies and more over he allowed us kayaking and it was one of the best days! Talking about the place: it’s a paradise. We were staying in local village and interacting with locals. The kids are adorable there. The house was so beautiful. It had a fan and it was more than enough for us. When you live in the nature you don’t really need WiFi so it was amazing to have these beautiful three days in the nature and waking up with the songs of the birds. OMG! I 100% recommend Friend of Nature homestay! You will never regret it and it could be your best experience in Cambodia because for us it was one of the best! Also Friend of nature homestay is situated in the north of Koh Rong, very close to Lonely beach and it has its own local Palm beach. Johney, thank you so much for being so nice to us! Rooms include a patio with garden views. We would like to sincerely thank Johnny; we felt incredibly welcomed throughout our entire stay. He greeted us directly at the pier and helped us with our luggage. He was very accommodating with all our requests, including arranging a boat tour, laundry services, restaurant recommandation and scooter rental. The room was nice and comfy. We highly recommend this place, perfectly located in the area of the best beach of the island.
