We enjoyed our stay at the pepperian homestay so much! We felt as if we were living in a house in the Kampot city. The market is a short walk away, but the house is in a quiet, peaceful ground where you can see children going to school in the morning. The rooms are simple and easy to use, and there is a hammock & relaxing area with a fan on the patio. The owner, PK, is friendly guy with a very fresh smile, and seems to enjoy his job very much. PK allowed us to use the kitchen, so we made shrimp tempura and ate it together, which was a great memory! He has made the best use of the courtyard of this private house to making a space where locals, children, and travelers can spend time together. It felt like innovative and also new places for the future. His natural communication skills are amazing, and he has created a space where everyone feels at home and at peace, as if we were in own home. I highly recommend this place, where is a bit different other experiences!

The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

We had a wonderful stay at fish island bungalows :) they have good prices for bike rental and tours and are genuinely nice people :) we ended up extending one night :) thank you for everything!

Especially the one in front of a small river is fantastic. I relaxed on hanmock by river and hand-made sofa at the balcony. Mosquite net is clean and smells good too (not few cases mosquit nets of reasonable bungalows are not clean and with many big holes). 2. Staffs Staffs are kind and attentive to customers. I liked curry-rice a lot, and the complementary fruit salad! 3. Kayak Free kayak. It's so worth to try a cruise in the jungle river. The one round is a bit long, it may take 1.5 to 2.0 hours. Watch the time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at Ta Eng Guesthouse and wish I had stayed there before. The location is in a quiet part of town and around a ten minute walk to the Durian roundabout. I would like to thank him for all the drinks he gave me as part of the Chinese New Year festivities !

Sopheap was so kind and welcoming, helped us with recommendations on what to do in Kampot.the free shuttle from the bus station was a lovely touch. We wanted bikes for $3 to cycle around!

I spend three nights at La Maison de Soriya and enjoyed it a lot. If you are looking for a genuine homestay experience this is the place to go. The place is beautiful and Jeff is a perfect host. It was pouring down so I got to talk a lot with him and enjoyed being around his son and three dogs. Help yourself to a few beers in the garden bar and don’t miss out on Jeff’s breakfast. I could have stayed a lot longer and maybe I will some day.
