One of the best places we have visited in Japan. Truly amazing and a unique location. Fantastic BBQ and cold beer on a hot day with a very kind host. Thank you so much!!

Shukubo Kansho-in Temple Sanrakuso ligt op 36 km van Mizuki Shigeru-straat en 49 km van Shinji-meer, en is voorzien van kamers in Daisen. Gastvrijheid was fantastisch. De locatie is ook subliem. Het uitzicht vanaf de kamer op het bos is heerlijk rustgevend. We zijn erg tot ons rust gekomen. We hebben twee nachten gezeten, het eten was beide keren anders en voorzien van ingrediënten rondom mt Daisen. Heerlijk.

It had a very homey feel, and even tho it is a shared space (for the public amenities), it did not feel crowded nor noisy. The location was just a walk across the coast as well.

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.
