It's convenient, close to public transport and also close to many sightseeing areas. You also get a great view of Beppu from the area around the hostel. The interior of the hostel is fantastic, you could spend hours looking at all the decorations and talking about your favorite shows. Tosi was also an incredible host who went above and beyond to make my stay as special as possible.

1.7 km from Kinrinko Lake in Yufu, 湯布院我楽珍民泊Yufuin Garakuchin provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. Love the traditional building and the tatami floors, the onsen was nice and the owner was so lovely! The beds recline!

Situated 44 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 湯布院月灯り offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The host is very gentle and nice lady who cooked breakfast for us and also recommended us to drive up to Sagiridai as the weather was very good on the day we checked out. We felt very much at home and all of us interacted very well with the host who is just a friend to us. We would definitely go back and stay there and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Yufuin. There is a an onsen in the bathroom.

He was overly helpful I drove and the road up to the house is a little scary as an American its hard. He drove my car down for me and im forever thankful I didn't crash my rental car. Very comfy nice stay close to everything I recommend it There's also a cool shrine with giant trees nearby. I recommend it

Clean and spacious room in a great location with many possibilities for sightseeing. Friendly host who even made us a lunch when we had to leave earlier in the morning! The homemade Japanese breakfast was also a highlight, and the cat was very cute!
