The worker turned the lights off at 10 so it was easy to sleep. The beds were comfortable. The place was really nice.

Uchi is situated in Matsushima, 200 metres from Zuigan-ji Temple. Guests can enjoy listening to music or watching TV in the common area. You will find a shared lounge at the property. We had an amazing star at this guest house! The host is kind and helpful and spoke perfect English. The rooms were comfortable, and we had no issues with sharing bathrooms with the other guests as the owners had provided a board on the door that stated if the shower was free or not. Even though there were other guests there, we had no issue with noise in the house. The accommodation is close to convenience stores and to the train stations. We were staying there because of an event in Sendai, and we found it easy to travel from the guesthouse to the city.

The guesthouse was about a four minute walk from the train station, and an eleven minute walk to the supermarket. Hiro, the owner, was super nice and friendly ^^
