I would 100% stay again if I was back in Ocho Rios. It was comfortable and homely. Aileen and Ms Norma were wonderful, the room was comfy and the kitchen was really handy. The neighbourhood was safe and friendly, easy to get to central Ocho Rios but a chill, quiet area. There was also a lovely patio. The WiFi did cut in and out but it was perfectly fine for what I needed - I managed a couple of Zoom calls fine.

I loved that Hilary, Corey and P.J were so warm, welcoming and made me feel right at home as a solo traveller. My room was modern and exceptionally clean, the cooking facilities were great and there were also staff on site like Nick who took me on tours and Ryan (the designated driver) who was my chaperone into town - Ochi. The hidden gem for me was the almost exclusive access to the White river running around the back of the house where I had a limestone massage or would sit and meditate in the mornings. They even offer Tubing tours along the river which I thought was absolutely fantastic! Idilio escape was a calm, comfortable and memorable experience. I would definitely book and go back.

The location was in the countryside atop a bird sanctuary. It was a European style accommodation, very quiet and very personal. Good for relaxing, being away from it all. Lots of nature.

The hosts were very welcoming, and taught us a few things about the fruits in the trees. They moved their car over to make space for us to park in their driveway. The rooftop was lovely, and their kitty was adorable and very affectionate.

We loved how the property was secure, welcoming and always clean. From the rooms, the decor, to the little amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, not to mention, the staff and the owner who made sure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way, it was a really amazing experience.

Situated in Discovery Bay and only 300 metres from Puerto Seco Beach, Cool Breeze Discovery Bay features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was such a good stay. The hosts Paula & Eric were so responsive to my text with questions prior to my arrival. Booked an airport pickup with Eric and he was there even though my flight was slightly delayed. Room was spacious and clean and the neighborhood is quiet with a few minutes drive from the beach. The property is gated so as a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. It felt like a home away from home. I ordered a Jamaican breakfast the first morning. It was very tasty. The portion size was huge, so you could skip lunch quite easily. They were on hand to give advice on travel if you were unsure and would always encourage you to ring them if you encounter any problems. They were so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property, shame it was such a short visit for a family funeral.

We kept good communication with the owner from check in till the end. Definitely recommend. Bang for your buck!
