I got lost on the way there, and Mr Brown stayed on the phone with me to give me directions and guide me in. He also helped me with accessing local services. He is the best 'brother', 'uncle' or 'friend' you could ever meet on your first day anywhere. The guest house is a fabulous, beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the hills and the sea.

Althia was a great host and she made us feel welcome like if we were at home. Coffee and tea in the morning and also great tips about the area. The house is well located and very close to boston beach (10min walk) and not far from others amazing beaches. Restaurants and bar close to the guest house and possibility to store your food in the sharing fridge. Clean and comfy room with all you need. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Portland but out of the crazy traffic of Porto Antonio. Grazie Althia 😘
Enrico and Suna is great hosts very helpfull and Nice, we had The best time staying at their farm an guesthouse in Long Bay its in The middle of The community close to shops and Beach, but at The same time very peacefull and chill, lovely relaxing Rooms and outdoors shower, overall amazing experience would come back again anytime.
Alfio is a lovely host, and a great chef; the breakfast and dinner he cooked for me were both excellent. The place is nice and quiet, apart from the neighbours' Saturday night party, and the room was very comfortable.
Spectacular views and great facilities! We went for a swim in the pool every morning and then enjoyed a homemade breakfast made by the lovely hosts Lloyd and Kate! The hosts are an amazing lovely couple who helped us with activities exploring the area and cooked for us every evening! Definitely recommend to stay here if you are in Jamaica and want to get away from crowded touristy places
Marian and Ana were lovely hosts and made all guests feel comfortable. The place has arguably the best view of Portland. It is nice and quiet a bit distant from the centre, which was not a problem because Marian would leave us and pick us up and combined a combined time.
I had a fantastic time staying with Mariam at his great hostel. Mariam is a great guy, I came as a guest but I feel like I left as a friend! We went out together a couple of times, it was a great experience :-) The hostel itself is awesome. The view is great, facilities are top notch, and you couldn't ask for a better breakfast in the morning. If you feel like stretching your legs, do walk the way up or down at least once, it was great and very safe.
Great hosts! Location about 10 minutes walking distance from the Boston Beach (very beautiful). Delicious breakfast. Clean room and bathroom. At first we booked two nights, then stood five nights!

This is the greatest hostel I’ve ever been to! Marian is a great host and the house has only good vibes. The view from the hostel is gorgeous, so much that is hard to leave the place every morning, even to go see one of the numerous wonderful falls that you’re surrended by or to go swin at the beach. The area is wonderful to visit, quiet and wild (the best in Jamaica).
