The location was picturesque and check in was simple. Our room had its own private bathroom and it was clean with good water pressure. The heated towel rack was a bonus! The breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth the additional charge.

Situated 37 km from Stykkishólmur, Drangar Country Guesthouse is located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and features a shared lounge. Drangar Country Guesthouse is really a great place to stay! We highly appreciate our night spent in this amazing place which has been designed by a famous architect in Iceland. Besides, Leana and her husband have been very welcoming and friendly hosts! They told us the interesting story of the place which was an old farm and also provided us with useful advice for the next days of our trip in Iceland. If we have a chance to come back in Iceland we will for sure stay again at Drangar :)

Located along the coastline, Við Hafið Guesthouse offers accommodation in Ólafsvík. Guests can benefit from free WiFi. Rooms feature either a view of the sea or mountains. VERY beautiful and fresh place. Clean, cozy, no bad smells.. Take a seaview! Loved it.

The most unforgettable aspect of the hotel is the evening buffet. For high-quality fish, there is a more professional and artisanal homemade sauce steamed, various flavors of spice-matched sashimi, paired with selected wines, dining slowly even watching the glaciers in the fog also feel very happy and warm. Every hotel staff member we met was very warm and wonderful, making us like this place more and hoping to meet again in winter.
