A very nice and cosy place, it's not very big but it's comfortable and the floor heating was keeping it nicely warm. We didn't meet with the hosts but the communication was fast and the check-in & check-out process was smooth. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the address was easy to find, close to the airport and some nice tourist spots. We've chosen this location, as there was a higher possibility to observe the Northern Lights, even if the activity is low and surely enough, we managed to see them through the window. The Gardur Lighthouse is also within walking distance, which is also a good spot for Aurora, so it was quite convenient. Also, the beds were really soft and comfortable and we had a goodnight sleep.

Needed a night close to Reykjavik airport for an early flight. The Little Guesthouse was perfect. Really comfy, clean and close to lots of restaurants. Bed was really comfy. Owner helped me find a taxi that cost £20 to get to the airport early morning (compared to £150 from Reykjavik)

It was close to the airport and to the water.

He entertained us with stories of how the art was created and his uncle's life which made us appreciate the effort he has put into creating this space. The concept is very unique and non typical of a "normal" guesthouse stay but that is what makes Brimarsbru stand out. The property is very clean and the room very spacious. Bathroom facilities are in the main house but this wasn't an issue. There is a microwave, kettle and fridge in your room which is helpful for making a quick breakfast in the morning. The location is excellent for the airport, taking us less than 10 minutes to reach there for our morning flight. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we return to Iceland.

Great location, not far from the airport which was convenient for us as we were flying back the following day. Fantastic kitchen facilities and the room had a great bathroom, as well as a kettle. Lovely host even gave us some cold/flu tablets.
