What makes it so special is that Shan and his team are amazing, the best host ever, so welcoming friendly and kind helping us to enjoy our stay in Kochi, arranging a taxi to pick us up from the airport and also organize our onward travel, sorting out taxis and our houseboat. We had a really fantastic time and highly recommend staying here.

Frances and Jeeja and their lovely home are what made this stay so enjoyable. The house is spotless and modern. The breakfasts are amazing. I stayed a week just to have some relaxing time. Its quiet this far out of town but there are places to eat along the beach. My personal favourite was Catamaran, recommended by Frances. Great to see village life, watch the fishermen mending their nets, and the women praying each evening at the small shrine, for the safety of the men out at sea. Do the backwater tour by paddle boat, a great day out.

Deepa is a wonderful person and she and her family made my stay to a wonderful experience. We had a really nice sunset-tour with her father. The food was also very good. The room is big, cozy and clean. It was the best homestay I had so far in India!
