I work as a professional tour guide and must say AJ is a gentleman ans a scholar - a master of his craft. He and his family are warm and super friendly hosts, offering a big room with a comfortable bed, quiet street, amazing terrace views over the fort. 10/10 stars, a memorable stay.

Fantastic place located within walking distance of Taj. Their lunch and dinner while a bit pricey is quite tasty. Interiors are tastefully done, the place was clean and the terrace is nice place to chill. The best part is the proximity to Taj which is important as you will need to reach Taj at 6 am if you want to bear the crowd. However will highly recommend to google search the place and book directly. We all had a horrid experience with booking.com (not connected to this property) which I will not elaborate over here.

Aman Homestay, A Boutique Hotel is situated 900m away from Taj Mahal. The home has spacious sitting areas, two balconies and a big terrace. It provides homely accommodation and free Wi-Fi in all... Boutique hôtel un petit bijoux, superbement décoré avec beaucoup de goût, excellents et complets équipements, services excellents également, situation parfaite de l’hôtel au calme et proche des intérêts historiques. Par ailleurs le personnel était toujours présent et d’une parfaite amabilité et serviabilité. En comparaison avec les différents hôtels où je me suis arrêté depuis mon séjour en Inde, le Aman Homestay est de loin le meilleur établissement que j’ai fréquenté. À tout voyageur qui désire visiter Agra et qui veut garder un bon souvenir de son séjour je recommande vivement cette adresse qui en plus de son rapport qualité prix vaut son pesant d’or.

THE place to book if you plan to enter the Taj Mahal via the "VIP" gate. The eastern gate is only reachable for pedestrians as it has banned all tuctuc and cars, and it's only a 15min walk to get there from your room. We were the 7th and 8th person to enter the Taj! Room is clean and pretty, only little downside was - the balcony is not private. We had other guests use the swing. But! Only a minor issue. 100% recommend!

Our room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The location was brilliant, only an 10 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. Staff were amazing in assisting us to buy tickets and organising transport. The home cooked food was very tasty, and it was very nice to sit together and chat with other guests whilst having dinner and breakfast. Rooftop is beautiful!

The hosts are really kind and treat you like family. The location is a little hard to get to, but the location and everything is just perfect. You are close to the airport as well as being able to get to locations relatively quickly. Overall, I would recommend this stay to others

It was like you were in a home. We loved the communal table. It was a great way to meet people in this beautifully decorated dining room with chandeliers and beautiful family photos. The property had an old-world charm about it and was very well decorated with fine-quality accents throughout, including our room. The staff was charming as well as the owners, Colonel Mahendra and his wife. They had some fascinating stories to tell and we enjoyed their hospitality tremendously. We highly recommend this property!
