The host Abbas and his family treat you like a part of the family and do whatever they can to make you feel like home. Just be aware that this is a homestay, where you live like the locals do, which means it's a very different standard compared to western countries. Abbas welcomed me with breakfast and arranged a nice little tour for me for the day. The property is only a short walk away from the temples. The most spacious bathroom I had in India. The room was also very spacious. Good value for money.
The best part about the stay at this 10 acres of forest homestay is the serenity. The place is so isolated that you will feel like you are in a different world altogether. You will be surrounded by greenery and birds chirping, and there is nothing more beautiful than waking up to a morning sunrise. I was in Orchha for my fieldwork and was looking for a stay with homely feeling. The Orchha Best Homestay meets its name in delivering that. The host family greeted me as I was arrived. I highly appreciate that. They made sure I was comfortable. Even provided me with helpful suggestions to get around Orchha. Room was clean and bed linen fresh.
