Boasting a garden and views of garden, Butterhouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Trim, 5.2 km from Trim Castle. We loved the facility and its owners. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished, and warm. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and wonderful conversation. The grounds of the B&B are delightful and include cows.

The hosts (owners) were so friendly and accommodating - they made us feel instantly at home. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. VERY CLEAN.

Stayed in a gorgeous little lodge overlooking beautiful farmland and cows. Fabulous, friendly hosts who even us left breakfast provisions. The huge bed was so comfortable and lodge beautifully decorated with all the facilities we needed. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!!

Located just 10 km from Hill of Slane, Countryside Retreat offers accommodation in Balrath with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Such a great host! Very welcoming. The room was clean and warm, the bathroom is huge. Great parking in the garden, and easy to access.
