I have no words to express how amazing everything was: the room super clean and with everything one needs, hotel very close to the city center and the people there were beyond nice! I am in general very picky when it comes to accommodations, and this one really left me with an amazing impression! Everything you need is there, including a proper hair dryer that is often so difficult to find even in 5* hotels. I will definitely come back and I recommended it already to all my friends!

We had an exceptional stay here! It was clean, fresh paint, new carpet, & decorated beautifully! We loved having our own fridge and being able to use the kitchen whenever we wanted. Every little detail was thought out and perfect! Our hosts were wonderful! They had all the information for bus/taxi and even drove us into the village twice! Mount Barker definitely has all the bells & whistles and it was the perfect end to our trip!

Stayed for 2 nights, really beautiful place to stay. The hotel text me the pin for the door and left the keycard up on the mantle which I found ideal as I was travelling for work. I bumped into the owner/manager the morning I was leaving who was extremely pleasant and lovely to speak with. Wifi was perfect, very peaceful and private room. Room was gorgeous and felt brand new. Would definitely stay again.

The hosts were very welcoming and they made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived, despite multiple flight cancellations which made our arrival particularly hectic. They were very accommodating of our arrival changes and made a stressful experience less stressful. The breakfast was relaxed and the food was delightful - the hosts baked us fresh scones, muffins, and lemon loaf throughout our stay. They gave us great recommendations for local things to do and they lent us umbrellas on rainy days. The room was very cozy, comfortable, and quiet - we wished we could have stayed longer. They even offered to give us a ride to the bus stop when we were leaving. We truly cannot say enough nice things about this place and we will definitely be coming back!
