Everything about our stay was wonderful. The host and family were very friendly and helpful. Very close to Borobudur. The host helped with an early morning ride to go get tickets and also had bikes to get to and from the temple. Siska even told us how much it would cost to park the bicycles which was extremely helpful when bartering with the attendant. We still paid tourist prices but it wasn’t nearly as bad as it could’ve been. She also assisted us with organizing our visit to Prambanan and onward, as well as provided us some options for seeing the rest of the sites we wanted to on Java. The food was delicious, the bed comfy and the location perfect. We would stay again.

The people there were kind and helpful, particularly Rifat, who really went out of his way, including speaking Dutch with me and introducing me to a little restaurant around the corner that I returned to more than once.
