If you plan to stay longer take a countryside bungalow. They are beautiful. Harry and Mimin invited us for dinner there. And if you want to make special trips, contact Harry before your trip. He has reallly great ideas for all over Sulawesi and more. Harry and Mimin are also doing great things for the people in and arround Gorontalo. As an exampöe they opened 2 schools. If your're a good teacher and want to help contact him too. WE LOVED THE PLACE AND SHOULD HAVE STAYED LONGER. NEXT TIME WE KNOW BETTER.

Sunset Homestay by Harry & Mimin features barbecue facilities and a terrace in Telaga. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and room service, along with free WiFi. Really lovely accommodation overlooking the ricefields, far enough out of the city to mean that it’s quiet and not busy but close enough to mean you could get into the city fairly easily when you wished to. The room was simple yet perfect as the air conditioning worked amazingly which we desperately needed as it was very hot. Mimin was an amazing host and helped with letting us know transport options and organised a transfer for us. The breakfasts were delicious and the children and animals running about the property made us feel very warm and at home. Such a lovely experience.
