Breakfast was exceptional! Prepared daily for all guests, a mix of local items and the homemade apple juice was delicious. Guest house was quiet and centrally located for our daily excursions. The staff took the time to speak with us, which made the experience very nice. Be sure to enjoy a meal at the delicious restaurant and take in the views from the patio.

He welcomes his visitors with a shot of traditional Hungarian Schnaps, he is talkative and makes jokes continously. The place is 10 minutes walking from Szentgotthard's main square in a quiet neighborhood, a separate room for our a bikes (a barn) was provided. Shower pressure is excellent, WIFI fast and reliable und breakfast is sumptous. Host speaks German, don't know about his English skills as most guests are obviously from Hungary or Austria. Finally we were very happy about our stay.

Located in Szentgotthárd and a 15-minute walk from the thermal bath, Gaál Vendégház offers free private parking on the premises. Free WiFi is available. Very clean rooms, it was excellent because we could let our baby crawl around on the floor. There is a big garden with well maintained lawn and places to sit and eat. The host was very kind, she even made some cookies us.

Within the Őrségd National Park, Boronaház Fogadó is located in Szalafő and provides free WiFi and barbecue facilities. All rustic units have a kitchen or kitchenette and living area. It was the best place. Out in beautiful nature, surrounded by welcoming hosts and a great respect for the deep values in life. Go there, eat homegrown food, sit under a tree. Maybe pet a pig or a cat and enjoy yourself. The best beds, the best breakfast and the best hosts!

Surrounded by the Őrség National Park in Őriszentpéter, Őri Art Inn is a rural-style accommodation offering various unit types, a large garden and horse riding opportunities on site. Zsolt (the owner) was really nice and even went out of his way to make food for us when we arrived late and nowhere was open. The location and accommodation itself was great, lovely breakfast, really nice place.
