Staying at Posada Vicentas was an absolute delight. To start, the location of the house was in a safe and secure area, close to the center of town but enough outside of it that it is quiet and peaceful at night. The family is absolutely lovely. They are so warm and welcoming. Chema, the host, has a wealth of knowledge on the area and provides extra activities that are well worth it. While staying with the family, I opted in for breakfast and dinner, both of which were fresh and filling. I got to sit and join the family which was great fun learning about everyone and practicing my Spanglish. I was able to take a sunrise trip up to the Indian Nose with Chema and his father...and the view was absolutely amazing and should not be missed! I will (hopefully) be returning to San Juan la Laguna soon, as it is such a beautiful place, and I will without a doubt be staying at Posada Vicentas. Highly recommend this stay!

A recently renovated homestay, Posada Del Viajero - Mayan Travelers Inn offers accommodation in Santa Cruz La Laguna. Owner is wonderful. So nice and kind. Pretty views of the lake. Large room and very clean. Great shower. Yummy breakfast. Hotel is up a large, sleep hill. Take a 10 Q tuk tuk to get there.

Located in San Juan La Laguna, 25 km from Volcano Atitlan, Casa Argentina provides accommodation with a garden and private parking. The hosts are great. The rooms are nice, colorful and luminous with big windows and very clean. The bathroom was a little small and the water heating is barely enough but in general loved the experience of staying there. We got extra blankets upon request and they had a laundry service.

This guest house offers accommodation with a patio. i really loved the place. it has a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains and the beds are so comfy. its such agood price for private rooms and shared rooms that’s insane. thank you very much. there is a kitchen, water and they even sell eggs ;) we loved it.
