We were one of the last guests as its end of the season,was cold outside but rooms got nice temperature and beds were super warm! Hosts are super friendly and chilled. Dinner and breakfast was one of the best we had in Georgia. North home also got one of the best view over the village and mountains as well. Can't wait to be back here and spend more time in the area.

Irakli provides transportation between Alvani and Omalo, and we felt super safe with him behind the wheel. He knows every pebble on that road, was rock solid and focused throughout the drived. (He also speaks excellent Spanish!) His wife runs the guesthouse, which was clean and cozy, and is an excellent cook. They were both very helpful and flexible. We had a great stay with them.

The couple running Guest House Babaka are lovely people. They were warm and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't have any languages in common, it was nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of Google Translate. After reading reviews about the food, we did ask for dinner. Dinner was an incredible spread of food with delicious homemade wine. All the food was delicious. The terrace was a comfortable place to hang out and there were two adorable dogs who liked to come by. The location was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center, which we knew. It's uphill going to town, but totally doable if you enjoy walking. Super quiet. We slept great. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was a simple homestay rather than a hotel. To that end, it feels like you're staying in an extension of someone's home, although the space we stayed in is very much separate from the house and pretty private. It's perfect if you're going in with those expectations, which we were. :)

Good clean room looking like a 3 or 4 star hotel. Free breakfast, very accommodating staff/owner (Mr. George), balcony with excellent view of the mountains/city, decent sized parking, and free breakfast.

Used the AC during our November stay. Shared kitchen and common space is functional and cosy. Great shower - water temperature and pressure. WiFi was good. A few minutes away from the centre (by foot), and a wine tasting place near it. Gio was very friendly and responsive. Try his homemade wine!

This was probably the best guesthouse we stayed at in Georgia. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and Kate was very warm and welcoming. We had the homemade breakfast which was absolutely delicious- a must have.

The host and her entire family was very warm and friendly. Our stay felt more like being at home. They did everything to make us comfortable and we had all the freedom to use the kitchen and facilities. They even offered us homemade wine and fruits for free. Such a lovely family. We highly recommend them

The hosts are wonderful people and will do anything to help you. Your chances of leaving with less weight than when you arrived are zero! Excellent tasty food and wine, good company and good humour. (This is only the second time I have given a perfect score)
