I wasn't sure I could make the date I sent originally and Christine was very accommodating. We received a warm welcome and a thorough check in. My friends and I were doing a hike up Pen y Fan leaving very early in the morning. Christine made us a packed lunch to go full of the essentials and more. That afternoon, I returned in a bit of a state, cold and wet. Christine offerred to dry some of my wet clothes and I had a lovely long warm shower. To top it off, we all had a made to order full english on Sunday morning. Christine is an amazing host and we enjoyed her company and her husband's in a beautiful environment. 10/10 - we would visit again! Situated just 42 km from Elan Valley, Castle Inn provides accommodation in Knighton with access to a garden, a bar, as well as room service. Breakfast was prompt and I was able to choose what I had rather than being given a large all day breakfast.

Fabulous hosts after a very late booking due to very bad weather. Nothing was too much trouble - made to feel very welcome plus no bother that I had the dog with me. Brilliant choice of breakfast. Would 100% recommend
