Set in Seaham, No.16 is a historic guest house that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy water sports facilities and a garden. Location was just a short walk from the beach and close to lots of good restaurants and cafes. The beach is an excellent location for collecting sea glass. The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. The lady who did our check-in was just fantastic and really nice to talk. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Situated in the heart of Chester, the Grosvenor Place Guest House offers free WiFi. Within the city walls, this Georgian townhouse is just a 10-minute walk from Chester Racecourse. Great location within just a couple of minutes walk of the town centre. The host was very welcoming and helpful and provided excellent advice on which pubs to visit and good restaurants. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed, a very good shower, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. I would definitely stay here again.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean, spotless linen and towels. Perfet English breakfast. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the city center. Highly recommend.
