He is very interested in learning about his guests (yet he respects their privacy) and wants to make sure they have everything they need. I liked how he supplied all the necessary items for a great breakfast in the morning. The room and the private bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-supplied. Having a secure place to store my e-bike overnight in the shed was very welcome.

Les Chambres d'Hôtes du Marché aux Grains are set in an old 18° house with outbuildings in the historic centre of Bouxwiller, a charming little town classified as a Small Town of Character. Beautiful house. Very quiet and peaceful in a historic village. Tastefully and sympathetically renovated and decorated. Delicious breakfast with wonderful French bread and croissants. Very warm, charming and welcoming hosts. We could not fault our stay.

We were made to feel very welcome by owners Monique and Henri. Even though we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English, we managed. The bedroom and lounge which were available for our use were very comfortable, as were the beds. We were welcomed to their table in the morning and shared a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't have wished for any more and would love to stay again. We left feeling almost like part of the family! Perfect hosts!
