Nanuya Lailai
Voyager Retreat Homestay offers accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We had an amazing stay at Vilise's homestay on the island. Vilise is a wonderful host—super nice, chill, and an incredible cook. The homemade, fresh meals were the best we’ve ever had. The homestay is beautiful, right on the beach in a quiet village, and Vilise keeps everything spotless. He can also organize great activities like boat trips to the cave, snorkeling, fishing.. We truly felt at home during our stay, highly recommended!
Matacawalevu
Featuring a private beach area, Ravita Cove HomeAway from Home HomeStay is set in Matacawalevu and also provides a garden and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The homestay offers a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Paradise found!! Our family spent 4 nights at Ravita Cove with 2 adults & 2 children and had the most unforgettable experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked it, but the reviews and location were good so I went for it. They came with their boat and picked us up from the Yasawa Flyer and brought us “home”. The beautiful home is on its own private beach- the most perfect beach - and set just a few feet away. We had 2 bedrooms and shared the bathroom with the host, Kuki. Kuki goes above and beyond to spoil his guests- 3 delicious meals prepared for us daily, all the daily activities are planned out and the details shared with us the day before so we now what time to be ready and what to bring. These rural islands work on the tide, so we would leave every morning around 9am for activities and be back by 1 pm before low tide so that we could dock. You are forced to relax in the afternoons and it was glorious. Some of the activities they took us to were snorkeling at Blue Lagoon, a school and village visit, and the Sawa-i-Lau caves. We also loved snorkeling and rock climbing at our own private Ravita Cove. On our last night, they threw a big Lovo feast with a kava ceremony. They treated us like family and it was more beautiful and special than I could have ever imagined.
Savusavu
Situated in Savusavu in the Vanua Levu region, Latui Loft has a patio and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features an open-air bath and full-day security. Candida & Grant's generosity of spirit made my visit to Savusavu extra special. Candida had a list of activity providers, and she helped make sure the activity was good based on weather, etc. The place was clean and had everything I needed, plus a nice assortment of welcome treats. The environment is serene, and you're close to town. The terrace was lovely for all times of day, to enjoy a coffee or drink and take in the views and nature. The outdoor shower was a luxury that I didn't know I needed. They offered rides whenever they were headed into town and made sure I was comfortable and shared deliious fresh fruit from the garden that came ripe while I was there. Sometimes, a host is more than just a host. Latui Loft is a gem.

Nacula Island
Facing the seafront in Nacula Island, Malakati Village Beach House has a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms include a patio with mountain views. It was an amazing experience for our family! The location and the beach and bay are simply stunning. The village people are very welcoming and super nice. Lots of „Bula!“ wherever you see someone. The kids a curious and happy to show you around. The water is superb for swimming and playing around in. We loved the different dog characters hanging out at the beach - all very friendly. You pay your „entrance“ fee and that‘s it, you are guests of the community instead of feeling like customers - the concept works really well and seems fair for everyone. It is simple, as that‘s what village life in the Yasawas is, but if you‘re somewhat open minded and up for trading some less comfort for having a unique and closer-to-authentic experience then this is for you. The hike up to the ridgeline in the early morning was fantastic. Amazing views and some village children and dogs as good company. We just loved it!

As a home stay it was the absolute best. I stayed for a month. Private sheltered beach, great reef, great food, great hammock, free internet, beautiful gardens and the staff were amazing! Love you Kuki, Milli, Male, Captain Simi and Simba (the dog).
Friendly and welcoming staff - great place to meet tourists. Nice restaurant and great selection from the bar. The evening entertainment from the locals was brilliant and a great way to experience Fiji culture.
Wonderful location, staffed by friendly & helpful locals. It captures the essence of Fiji—relaxed, fun & hospitable.
The location is very remote and secluded, it really feels like eco-island life. It is a relaxed atmosphere and you can go exploring by yourself and aren't restricted to certain activities. But they also offered a range of free activities. About a 2-minute walk away there is a cute homestay cafe that you can go to and buy some coconut juice/tea/coffee/cake - we would recommend visiting.
Navi homestay our 2 time visit. Navi and Amy treat us lije them family.
The coral reefs.. was beautiful and fresh.. Loved the clams and beautiful fish, sunrise was beautiful, sitting with the locals for breakfast was a treat
We liked the pool and outdoor area. The bar and poolside area was open to public and well used by locals. While it got a bit rowdy on Saturday night, the very courteous security guard was always on hand and we always felt safe. We had dinner at the restaurant and the Indian food was particularly delicious and it was good value. we also liked the atmosphere in the dining area with lots of old photographs.
I stayed only 2 nights at Navi's homestay and I wish I had more time. They welcomed me as familly, food was delicious, and it was a great experience to discover the local life (going to church, visiting the village, drinking kava with locals..). Thanks for opening your home to me and for your kindness !
Salome and her husband were very nice and caring. They made us feel like home. Spending time at this home stay give you a different perspective as how the locals live. Food and location were perfect.
