It is situated 39 km from Monasterio de Santa Maria de El Paular and features a 24-hour front desk. excellent cosy vibe, you feel straight at home. Jose Luis even waited for us and still gave us breakfast as due to the changing of the hour we were really late.

Featuring a bar, El Lago is set in Cervera de Buitrago. The property features mountain views. The location and the views were amazing. There were so many fun activities to do too. All under a 10 linute walk.

Mirasierra offers rooms in Bustarviejo. Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also have free WiFi. I liked the location relative to public transport. If you don't have a car but you want to spend a night in the mountains and do some hiking or walking or even cycling, this is a great affordable option for which to base yourself at for a night or two. The rooms are pretty basic, but the shower works fine, with plenty of hot water. There is wifi (though a little slow), the room was pretty clean. There were nice views over parts of town and nearby mountains. There are a few supermarkets and places to eat within easy walking distance. They didn't stint on toilet paper. I don't think it has air conditioning though, which may make it ick during the summer depending on weather. But it is what you'd expect from a one or two star hotel, and for €30, can't go wrong if you want to visit Bustarviejo.

Hostal Madrid Paris is situated in Buitrago del Lozoya, a charming medieval town just an hour’s drive north of Madrid. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and barbecue facilities. Lovely and clean room and very helpful and friendly staff. The hostal is in a good location in a beautiful town with a good choice of shops and bars. We had a good night's sleep and left early to make our way to Santander. We have stayed here a couple of times and had lovely meals in the bar restaurante. I can highly recommend.
