The Hotel Sancho was convenient for my needs. The staff are absolutely great and very friendly. A lovely cafe on the Main Street, which a lot of locals frequent. A room overlooking the traffic and No Noise.
The location is superb for all attractions. Easy walk to Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Prado Museum, The main Park, The Royal Palace all within 20 Min walk. The Bar manager , Mai, was superb and a great host.
Great location, easy walk to so many vibrant places to eat, drink and shop. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Lovely host who helped with check in. Great cafe directly opposite with good coffee and food and simply charming staff. Would recommend this accommodation.
Great Hostel, clean, comfortable, secure and happy to hold my bags on my last day. In quite a busy spot but an easy walk to the Prada Museum, and the cool laneways of Madrid. Close to the station so easy access to and from Atocha and the Airport.... good value for the price. Certainly wasn't noisy at night.c
A homestay in the suburbs of Madrid, very good if you want to meet the locals. The landlady only spoke Spanish, so Google Translate is recommended. Also, while the Abrantes metro stop is close by it is on a spur of the metro system, but the Oporto stop is a 15 minute walk and better connected. If you want to experience the real Madrid this is a good option, If you want a plush hotel experience this is not it.
