Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. The place is exceptionally good: the room was big, the breakfast was nice, and the staff was very helpful. I was arriving late and they arranged check-in without any problem. Also I needed to prolong my stay and it was also possible. Also the design of the place is very pleasant, wooden architecture. I totally recommend this place.

What a beautiful stay it was at Nina Kordon's Guesthouse! First of all, thank you for being so patient and understanding while I was trying to speak Estonian and remember all the words, It was such a pleasure to speak the language after so many years! Now about the actual guesthouse - it was marvellous, so authentic, very clean, and has everything you might need. Also such a close distance to the beach (literally less than a minute's walk) and the possibility of looking at the beautiful sunset over Peipsi Lake. Additionally, I must mention the breakfast. Your pickles will forever live in my memory! And by serving them for breakfast, you just stole my heart, cos I'm a true pickle girl. My husband was amazed by the variety of breakfast options and he especially enjoyed the linden tea you had. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
