Featuring a garden and views of garden, Hostel Coco Loco is a recently renovated guest house located in Canoa, a few steps from Canoa Beach. Situated on the beachfront, this property features a bar. In a perfect, beachfront location. The staff is friendly. The room was clean and the bathrooms too. There was only one other person in the dormitory and it was very peaceful. There were no problems with the mosquitoes but the beds had a net just in case. The wifi worked sufficiently but sometimes not very strong in some areas. Good price too! Overall, I love it here!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a saltwater pool, mountain view and a terrace, Ayampe Lofts is situated in Ayampe. I really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. It's very clean and the atmosphere is so cozy and modern at the same time. I would definitely come back in the future.

ROOM COLIBRÍ - La Casa de Eros is located in Ayampe. The property features mountain and river views, and is 1.7 km from Las Tunas Beach. The room we stayed in had good amenities like air-conditioning, it wasn't too loud and was clean enough. However, I didn't realise it was a homestay..you are renting a room inside of a family's house, which means the communal areas feels claustrophobic and loud unlike other hostels. So considering that, it's quite over priced for what it is. However there are some pros- it's secure, filtered water is available, the family is friendly and helpful and there is air-conditioning. But in terms of ambience and space, It's not the most comfortable. Location is also far from the main areas in ayampe. I'd rate it well for practicality but low for a relaxing stay, purely because you're staying in an extended family's house and you can hear loud conversations and phone sounds from your bedroom.
