She made it so wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable about the island and even so much about the other islands as well. Gave us great recommendations when we arrived with no plans. She prepared a delicious breakfast that we shared with the other guest each morning. It was so filling. She even packed us a bagged breakfast for our early morning ferry. And drove us to the port very early. And let us store our luggage. So kind and generous. The rooms were impeccably clean. Comfortable and inviting. Bed was so comfortable. AC was cold and water was very hot. Provided drinkable water in room and dispenser in common area. A 10-15 min walk to main downtown but enjoyable and safe. Affordable laundry services nearby.

Posada del Mar ligger i Puerto Ayora, 700 m fra Los Alemanes-stranden og 1,3 km fra La Estacion-stranden. Der er restaurant, havudsigt og gratis wi-fi. My favourite place during my trip in Galapagos! The owner is super kind and helped us with everything, also offering us a breakfast. The location is great close to the harbour and I loved the room, very clean and comfy with nice paintings and fresh colours. The shared kitchen was useful for having our breakfast on the balcony with a pleasant sea view.

Hostal Cann's House ligger i Puerto Baquerizo Moreno på øen San Cristobal, 400 m fra Oro-stranden og 600 m fra Mann. I wish I could give this property more than a 10. it’s the best place I have stayed at in years. Nelly the owner is the most wonderful person and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. From picking you up at the ferry/airport to dropping you off everything is PERFECT. Her breakfasts are the best, the Hostal is spotless and so beautiful. I doubt I will ever find a place as welcoming as Hostal Cann’s House

Hostal Romy har aircondition samt udsigt over stranden på San Cristóbal-øen, 120 m fra byen Malecón. Der er gratis privat parkering. Hyggeligt hostel og stor, fin lejlighed med alt, hvad vi havde brug for. Frisk, koldt vand på værelset og vi fik endda frisk frugt. Stedet drives af en meget sød og serviceminded familie, som hjalp med alt fra booking af ture til transport. Vi følte os virkelig velkomne.

Hostal Cattleya ligger i Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, under 100 m fra Playa de los Marinos og 1,1 km fra Oro-stranden. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og eget badeværelse. The BEST hostel. Air conditioning, hot showers, big rooms with storage space, comfy beds, clean with daily housekeeping, filtered drinking water, free breakfast every morning on a beautiful terrace, walkable to the main part of town but far enough removed for quiet, laundry available, quick communication. But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. If you stay at Hostal Cattleya, you support a true local family. We love you Trudy and Ivan!

Hotel StarFish ligger i Puerto Villamil, blot 5 minutters gang fra stranden. Der er gratis WiFi. Samtlige rummelige værelser har sengelinned og aircondition. Der er desuden eget badeværelse med... The room was so nice and clean, the staff was very accommodating, the location was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Cucuve Eco Lodge ligger i San Cristóbal, 6 minutters kørsel fra den lokale lufthavn. Der er gratis WiFi. Samtlige værelser har kabel-tv, opholdsområde og terrasse. Alfredo and his family were lovely and the hostel was immaculately clean. Lovely garden with fruit (which I could eat), water supplied, snorkel rental and recommendations for the tours/ferries. A nice relaxing place to stay.
