Every detail is cured to perfection, from the roses in the garden, to the details in the newly restored and perfectly clean bedroom and bathroom. The view from the bedroom's window is amazing and we had access to our own fridge, where we could store some of the food we had with us. In the morning we could make coffee and bring it out to have our own breakfast sitting under the roses looking at the landscape.

Housed in an 18th-century farmhouse in the village of Flødstrup, Staevnegaarden offers spacious apartments with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom. Flødstrup Church is just across the street. There was a lovely patio with garden furniture but because of the storm, we didn't use it. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - and more. We loved the vintage feel and the original cupboards gave a true taste of authenticity. Even though the weather was bad, we had a great girly break reading the magazines and just relaxing.
