Vor lauter Bäumen B&B offers a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 19 km of Harz National Park and 37 km of Town Hall Wernigerode. We were warmly met by Sebastian and Eline, they were very kind to show us everything we needed. The suite was very warm and clean and all utilities were working just fine. There were always enough hot water and the kitchen was fully equipped and had everything for a short stay. The breakfast was very good and tasty. I found it very nice that every guest could set up an own breakfast time. Everything had a spicial touch and charm. The location is a very nice village between mountains. Hiking routes of various lengths are starting just from it. So nice that the disaster killing trees on Harz mountains didn't get there. The sauna and jacuzzi for extra 40€ is absolutely the top. The nearby water stream and of course the trees are quite loud (just as the place's name states) but it didn't irritate us and the windows are completely canceling the noise if you wish. The check-in and check-out process was uncomplicated and on the check-in we received guest cards providing free bus rides and discounts in many establishments of the region.

Featuring mountain views, Pension Goldbachmühle offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.3 km from Monastery Michaelstein. We a family of 5 adults and 3 years old boy spent a lovely weekend in the spacious, amazingly well decorated and very comfy apartment for up to 7 guests (5 adults and 2 kids, one of the rooms has two a bit shorter beds dedicated to kids-teenagers, this room does not have a bathroom, whereas the other two rooms (for 3 and 2 ppl, have their separate bathrooms). The building has a really impressive deco, bety stylish and cosy ambience. Breakfast was delicious with self made rolls, freshly pressed oranged juice, yogurt etc. Kichen although small, had everything what one would need. A big bonus was toys for kids in the apartment as well as in the lounge. In general amazing winter weekend in Harz.

Situated within 6.8 km of Hexentanzplatz, Friedrichsbrunn and 7.2 km of Harzer Bergtheater in Friedrichsbrunn, Harz Pension features accommodation with seating area. We felt so welcomed, got fantastic recommendations, and were invited to a local town event--and once we showed up, she spotted us and went out of her way to greet us and ensure we felt included. Honest, helpful, accommodating; I can't say enough good things about the way the place was run. Our dogs were calm and comfortable despite at times being nervous travellers. Also, this is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed.

Located in Braunlage, within 6.4 km of Harz National Park and 25 km of Town Hall Wernigerode, Villa Tannerhof provides accommodation with ski-to-door access and free WiFi as well as free private... The owners are truly remarkable. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. For example: my husband had his birthday over the weekend, and we were welcomed with bubbles and birthday decorations in the room. Also, the breakfast was exceptional! Made with love and anything you could wish for was there. Location wise it's a really good pick. You can walk into town in 10 mins, but you're also in a quiet area where you can immediately step into nature. We already know we'll go back and are looking forward to see Silke and Ralf again :-)

Located in Goslar, 300 metres from Imperial Palace and 15 km from Train Station Bad Harzburg, An der Gose - Gästezimmer & Appartement provides accommodation with free WiFi, ski storage space, terrace... An excellent location, historical site and atmosphere. Warm and cozy. I have chosen Goslar for AgriTechica show and I am fully satisfied as there are regular trains to the Messe/Hannover Showgrounds in Laatzen

Located within 4.8 km of Monastery Michaelstein and 14 km of Hexentanzplatz, Friedrichsbrunn in Blankenburg, Feriendomizil Schlossblick provides accommodation with seating area. Mrs and Mr Durwen are extremely kind and caring people. The room I rented reflects their sense of warmth and hospitality. Certainly worth the stay if you are in Blankenburg (and do ask about the castle…).

DAS TANN rooms & wine is set in Thale, 6.9 km from Hexentanzplatz, Friedrichsbrunn, 7.4 km from Harzer Bergtheater, and 15 km from Train Station Quedlinburg. Quiet, perfect place to get quality sleep. Spacious room, nicely decorated, possibility for breakfast/dinner which was tasty, walking routes in the area

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Villa Pusteblume is located in Bad Grund, 27 km from Imperial Palace and 34 km from Train Station Bad Harzburg. Everything was absolutely perfect. Extremely helpful host, who also spoke English. The accommodation is very spacious, nicely decorated and has everything you could want. The location is quiet, with a large garden and plenty of parking space. This is the best accommodation of its type I have stayed in from this site.
