Situated in Bernau am Chiemsee, within 29 km of Erl Passion Play Theatre, Gästehaus Lechner is an accommodation offering garden views. The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. She recommended several local things to do. The room was great, everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling and friendly. We met a couple who have been coming to the same hotel for 35 years! If that doesn’t tell you that it’s quality… !! The WiFi was excellent and even reached the beautiful outside area, where we sat the whole evening enjoying the fresh air.

Pension Langerspacher, a property with a terrace, is located in Grabenstätt, 40 km from Klessheim Castle, 43 km from Europark, as well as 44 km from Red Bull Arena. The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay. Loved the beautiful stairway!

This family-run guest house lies on the banks of Lake Chiemsee. It offers rooms with free WiFi, and great views of the Fraueninsel Island and Chiemsee Mountains. Location is great; close to nice bars and restaurants and right near the lake and ferry. The room and bathroom was modern, clean and quiet. The view was excellent (was a side view but still great). The staff were very pleasant.

Spacious, clean apartment in a quiet environment. The bed is very comfortable; the kitchen has all the necessary equipment. There is enough parking space; if you have bikes, a garage is available. I have never met such a kind and helpful hostess. Since we were in the apartment, we didn't order breakfast, but in the morning, in addition to freshly baked pastries, the hostess set us up with milk for coffee and various spreads.
