This is an exceptional location, not traditional. The house is located in the middle of a coffee farm, not just coffee but all other fruits like banana, sweet lemon, cocoa etc. are available. You will have beautiful view from your room. Jose and Jennifer are very kind hosts, the breakfast and dinners are fantastic. Coffee tour in the property is a must. You can learn a lot about the farm and sustainable agriculture. We had wonderful time.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Golfito, Golfito Maison D'hôtes is a homestay surrounded by views of the river. The location was perfect as I was catching the launcha the next morning.

Boasting garden views, Selva Linda Lodge vacation rentals provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.7 km from Manuel Antonio National Park. Great place in the middle of nature. We can always watch monkeys from our balcony and there's 2 hammocks which is perfect for a couple. There are 2 other rental properties in the compound but we felt privacy as our balcony was opposite the others and facing just nature. Kitchen is equipped enough for simple meals. The swimming pool is nice to have is the Costa Rican heat. Owners are very kind.

The hostel is very clean, and the staff is very helpful (they helped me with booking of a tour to Corcovado and a tour to Caño Island). The hostel has a very nice and chill vibe, and that somehow attracts wonderful people (or I was just lucky during my stay). There were many other solo travelers when I was staying, and several of us ended on the same tours, which just made the experience even better. The restaurant/cafe next door is really great (I ate there several times).

They will socialize with you or leave you to yourself, they don't need to ask, they have a good read of international travelers. A, quick walk to grocery, bus station, restaurants, malecon. Actually, anywhere in Quepos is a short walk to anywhere in Quepos. For ease of entrance/exit, each key to security doors and room door are color-coded. The kitchen and living room area are compact and well designed. The writing board on the wall has a list of activities they can refer you to, and the current prices. It also had a price for breakfast or dinner, if you want a home made meal. Each of the 3 rooms in the main house are 2 steps to the shower/bathroom. It is quiet. The oscillating, wall-mounted fan blows directly on the bed. For $5, you can have the air-conditioning. I chose no air. For me, an absolutely perfect space.
