The home was in a beautiful area walking distance from Lake Arenal Park and recreation area and very close to restaurants and shops. Perfect weather...no need for a heater or air conditioner.

What a lovely place and great host. We stayed only one night, but this place is a dream. Thanks to Monika and Rob ( hope this is right).
The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!
Werner and Carlos were great hosts and gave us valuable info on where to go to eat and for other activities. Very pleasant and mellow experience at Casa Donna Rosa!
I stayed here the 2nd time, because Marita’s B&B is marvellous, Marita and Albert are very obliging and lovely host. They took care of me like parents. Breakfast is yummy. Their garden with all the colourful birds splendid. From here you can explore Arenal and Monteverde easily.

AMAZING! Marita and Alberto are lovely hosts. The house and the room were absolutely clean. The garden of the house is beautiful and very nice to take a breakfast (which was SO TASTEFUL) and take pictures of birds. The location is perfect as it is in the middle between Tenorio and Arenal (if you wish to do both) and everything is available by foot (supermarket, bank, restaurants, etc). Muchas Gracias Marita and Alberto.
