The owners were extremely nice people and organised our activity while there and gave restaurant recommendations. The hostel has hammocks to chill out in and a well equipped kitchen too. Room was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The price is great too, the best in San Gil for the service provided. Would recommend to anyone staying in San Gil.

Offering a garden and mountain view, La Hacienda is set in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park and 42 km from Chicamocha Water Park. The owners Jane and Filipe together with the rest of the family (mom Janet, dogs) really make the place very special. They make you feel welcome, even before you arrive! Felt like home after a day of walking, rafting etc. The meals are yummie and a massage of mom Janet are also very much recommended.
