Boasting an open-air bath and views of sea, Casa Dos Almas is a recently renovated guest house situated in Guachaca, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca. The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

Located in the centre of Santa Marta, 600 metres from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach and 200 metres from Santa Marta Cathedral, Hostel paradise St offers free WiFi and air conditioning. We stayed one night before Lost City Trek and everything was great!

Situated in Guachaca, 1.6 km from Guachaca Beach and 1.6 km from Playa de Mendihuaca, Encanto Hostel features accommodation with free WiFi, a garden, garden views, and access to wellness packages and... very relaxing, nice common area with strong WiFi and enough hammocks. Little paradise within the jungle, but still in walking distance to nice activities (river, beach). Helpful staff, open air dorm with good mosquito nets. In-house restaurant with good food (even though everything is fried and starts to get hard on the stomach after a few days).

Set in Santa Marta, 400 metres from Salguero Beach and 1.1 km from El Rodadero Beach, Hostal Magdalena offers a garden and air conditioning. The heartwarming welcome that the entire team gave to my partner and me. This attitude continued during our entire stay and I can't stress enough how much we appreciated their genuine interest and care for our wellbeing and for providing us with a truly unforgettable stay. Diana and her colleagues are incredible people and I sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to visit their extraordinary hotel again one day. The place is an oasis of hospitality, our room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable with a great private shower and an incredible bed. The food that the restaurant offers is very tasty and carefully prepared. I loved every single second of our 3 days stay!

Situated in Santa Marta, 2.7 km from Castilletes Beach, ECOCABAÑAS DIOSA JAGUAR tayrona features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. We stayed in a beautiful cabin, with lots of space, a fan, and a good mosquito net. The owners are extremely sweet. The owners wife went out to buy food to cook for us in the evening, and the included breakfast was great. The cabins are just a 10 minute walk from the Tayrona park main entrance. It was a great place to rest after two days in the park.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa Feliz Hostal is a recently renovated guest house situated in Santa Marta, 1.4 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. The host at Casa Felix Hostal made me feel like I was with family. Very great stay!

Set in Santa Marta, Rivera Hostel is a recently renovated accommodation, 800 metres from Salguero Beach and 1.3 km from El Rodadero Beach. Great family hostel! Super friendly people!

Situated within 1.4 km of Bello Horizonte and 10 km of Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum, Casa Ines features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Santa Marta. The host was absolutely amazing, very welcoming and kind. She went out of her way to help us and make our stay very enjoyable. I recommend staying at this wonderful place to anyone wanting a serene and relaxing room in a cozy house.

Casa chill out, a property with a garden, is situated in Minca, 21 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, 21 km from Santa Marta Cathedral, as well as 21 km from Simon Bolivar Park. Very nice hostel in Minca, with two beautiful terraces and lots of animals! The people that run the hostel are awesome and will make you feel at home from the second you arrive 😌 thanks for everything guys…will definitely be back!

Situated in Santa Marta in the Magdalena region with Santa Marta Marina and Santa Marta Gold Museum nearby, Santa Sophia Del Mar B&B hotel features accommodation with access to a hot tub.
