Featuring quiet street views, Donama River features accommodation with balcony, around 1.2 km from Palomino Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Perfect place that is just a little out of the way of the main high street so it's much quieter and still not far to walk to the beach. Restaurants and shops all close by and just a short walk from the bus stop. Lovely clean room but the best part was the balcony and roof terrace. Just perfect to relax on.

We really enjoyed our time staying here. The site is brilliant and peaceful, there's lots of room to chill out and enjoy, plus lots of nature to see. The pool area is spacious and really relaxing. Breakfast was great everyday. The staff were really helpful and attentive. The hostel even has turtles they look after! Around 5 minute walk to the main street in Palomino so not much noise from here.

A budding slice of paradise in a quiet corner of Palomino, the care taken in the creation of the space, it’s integration into the surrounding community and ecosystem, and the family-feel of the hospitality makes Jui Chi Mama the place to stay in Palomino. From the moment we were greeted by Germán, we knew the quality of our stay was important to him and his family. Germán took the time to sit with us with a map and orient us in the wider region of the Sierra Nevada and La Guajira province. If you like BIRDS or learning about local ecology and wildlife, you MUST book your tour with Germán. We had one of the best birding walks of our three month trip with his keen eye, beautiful storytelling, and kind and collaborative presence. Our room was very comfortable with a strong fan, comfy bed, great mosquito net, a cute little balcony, and clean private bathroom. The properties garden and communal space was lovely, though we didn’t make as much use out of it as it deserves as we spent most of our day out doing activities.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of inner courtyard, Casa Zaida Hostal Vintage is set in Ríohacha, 800 metres from Playa de Riohacha. It was an incredibly lovely stay at Zaida's place. She is a lovely woman who takes great care of her guests. We wished that our Spanish would be better to understand all the lovely poems Zaida presented to us. If you are homesick, Zaida will take you into her family with open arms. All the best to Zaida and her family.

Boasting garden views, Hostal Nibuni Palomino features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around less than 1 km from Palomino Beach. We had a wonderful stay here, super relaxed. The owner and his staff are just amazing and lovely! They helped us with all the requests we had. The place is very quiet but super central as well, amazingly clean despite all the sand and just great. The breakfast is really delicious and they take care of your preferences! Here you're surrounded by just wonderful great vibes. We liked it so much that we prolonged our stay for several days. We would always come back and will recommend this site, which became our Palomino home, to everyone who's going to visit Palomino.

Offering a lovely garden/chill out area and views of the mountain, Bella Flor Hostel Palomino is situated in Palomino, halfway between the beach and the main drive. I truly enjoyed my stay at Bella Flor! It had great atmosphere and friendly staff, was always kept clean, had a stable wifi, comfy hammocks, and tons of options for breakfast to choose from. Highly recommend!
