The area is safe. We walked from the airport to the hostel although it was late. The host is amazing and very helpful. I would have stayed more nights if the place was closer to the center. It's clean and convenient. Many stores and restaurants close by.

In the Crespo district of Cartagena de Indias, close to Marbella Beach, Aqui me quedo features a garden and a washing machine. Cozy clean and a very cute and safe neighborhood. Hosts were very warm, friendly, and welcoming. 5 minute walk to the airport and felt safe doing so even early morning. Many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great— we had an early flight and they even packed it up to take it to go. 10/10
