The staff is extremally friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcomed from the start and provided us with many local tips in the area. It was a great bonus that they had a gym. There were also many parks nearby to walk around with our cat in. The wifi worked well and was really fast. We highly recommend staying at this hostel when you visit Medellin!

Situated just 29 km from El Poblado Park, Refugio en el Bosque offers accommodation in Medellín with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a shared kitchen. Excellent place! In the middle of the nature. Many animals/birds coming in the morning. The owner is a very good chef/cook and makes delicious breakfast/dinner. The refugio is very close to the mirador/viewpoint (just 5min walking). Great place to calm down, have some great peaceful time in the nature

Boasting mountain views, Hostel Metro Floresta Alojamiento offers accommodation with terrace, around 8.9 km from El Poblado Park. What a fantastic stay. It is located at a quieter part of Medellin, however there are plenty of great restaurants and eats around. You are also served a delicious breakfast everyday. The rooms are clean and the common spaces are good! Would definitely return
